What is IP Address?
Internet Protocol (IP) is a protocol by which data is sent from one machine to another over the internet. Each device -- known as a host -- on the internet has at least one IP address that uniquely differentiate it from all other devices connected on the internet.
Why is IP used?
IP addresses are the addresses that allows data to be sent between different computers, mobiles and other devices on a network. They contain location of host and make host devices accessible for communication. The internet needs a way to identify between different computers, routers, and websites.
